Training Philosophy
My goal is YOUR goal, to get you moving, in great shape, and independently motivated. To be in the best shape of your life you have to show up and train. This is your program and the results are 100% up to you. I'd rather train someone who wants to become stronger internally, rather than someone who just wants to "lose 30 pounds in a month." True athletes understand the process and are willing to put in the time it takes to develop mastery.
Sliding Scale
My rates are calculated on a sliding scale, based on your ability to pay. If you think you might eligible for a discount, please contact me. My hardship rates begin at $30 per session and increase from there. If you want to buy a scholarship for someone in need, you will pay the rate that they would have paid.

Online Program Design
The "Online Program Design" offers a tailored fitness plan accessible from anywhere, catering to individual goals and needs. This is included with monthly in-person plan, but if you're in another city, this is a great way to work out on your own and remain accountable to a trainer.
Seibukan Karate Class for Seniors
The Seibukan Karate School in Franklin TN (see link below) is considering a special low impact, slower-progressing class for seniors and those with directional challenges. We will offer a unique and empowering approach to martial arts, specifically designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults, promoting strength, balance, and confidence through tailored training techniques. I started competitive powerlifting at age 40 with NASA. After setting world and national records, I became a powerlifting coach and referee for 5 years. I competed in both NASA and USPA for 15 years.
USA BMX Bicycle Association
It's never too late. I started BMX Racing in my 30's and managed to hold 3rd in the state of Arizona in my age group.
NPC FIGURE Bodybuilding Competitor and Trainer
It's never too late to start! I did my first bodybuilding show as a figure competitor at age 50 and won a few awards before training my own clients to compete.
SEIBUKAN KARATE
It's never too late. In 2023, I began to study Seibukan Okinawan Karate. I am hoping to be able to introduce this art to seniors as a way to improve cognitive function, muscular control, limb independence and coordination.

2 years ago I tore my Labrum in my shoulder benching because I attempted a massive PR with no warmup trying to show off to my friends. On April 27th, 2016 I had 6 anchors put in my right labrum to hold it all together. Since that day I didn't so much as attempt a back squat with weight due to range of motion issues and upper body weakness and muscle atrophy. I was fearful and did not possess the knowledge or tools to attack this problem. Luckily, I've gotten to know someone who does. Vicki spent an inordinate amount of time with me going over bar placement, hand grip, shoulder mobility, foot placement, and so many other things that play into squatting safely and strongly. Needless to say, after an hour session with her, I was squatting 78% of my pre surgery max. After not having squatted in 8 months some may call that foolish, or maybe I'm just a freak athlete. But I really know it's only because I was taught how to squat properly with good form, and the weight just went up. Makes me wonder what I could've done once upon a time with good form. But Vicki is unbelievable and one of the best coaches and supportive individuals you'll ever know.
I have only been powerlifting since March 2016 and I needed a few one on one sessions to help me out on a few form and technique issues I was having. Vickie has done that in just a few training sessions. I also feel more confident in my lifts. I'm looking forward to training with get for my fist meet. She's very knowledgeable in what age does and I feel like I'm in good hands. Kerstin Crabill
Deadlifting has always been one of my weak points, either I would finish my lift with back pain, or just not be able to move the weight that day. After getting help from Vicki on form and mental focus, the change was immediate. Her knowledge is easy to see, as she instructed me how to stand, contract my core and hold my shoulders to deadlift correctly. In about 15 minutes I was lifting 20 pounds over my previous weight, and walked away with zero back pain!
